This picture is of a door with a shadow of a fence on the door which creates the concept of a line, and allows your eye to focus on the lines and where they direct your eye. This fire hydrant is a great example of color because everything else around it is a normal, kind of boring color which makes the yellow on the fire hydrant stand out. This photo is successful because the color really pops. This is a picture of an apple juice carton that was just sitting on the ground. It creates the effect of form because of its shadow which also creates a three dimensional affect. This is a photo of texture created by a tree and the light that shines through the space in between the leaves. This is just an overall great picture. The lemonade bottle takes up most of the space in the picture and really stands out from the colors in the background, and it is the main focus of the picture. This creates space in the picture. This photo creates space because of the circle amongst all of the other rhombus shapes. It is a picture of one of the tables in the firelane. The definition of a picture of value is the lightness or darkness of the photo. This picture portrays both the light and dark that the shadow of the tree creates.

This photo is by Alfred Stieglitz of Georgia O'Keefe in 1918. The website I found it on is http://www.metmuseum.org/toah/hd/stgp/hd_stgp.htm This is a good example of line because of the look of her collar bones and the line that it creates. Along with the look of her neck and the placement of her hands. This photo was taken by Sandy Skoglund. It is a great example of color because of the color that is present because of the french fries against the pink on the barbie's clothes. The website it was found was http://www.sandyskoglund.com/ This photo is by Laszlo Moholy-Nagy and is a good representation of shape because of the use of a circle and all of the other little shapes inside of it. The website I found it on is László Moholy Nagy - Guggenheim Museum Josef Koudelka is the photographer of this picture and is a terrific representation of shape because the one tree takes up the entire picture and is the main focus of the picture. Ben Von Wong is the photographer of this picture and it is a good example of value because of her skin color and the darkness of the buildings around her.
The camera was put on the shutter speed priority setting and set at 1/1000. Some of the struggles I had was that the person getting the balloon popped on them wasn't clear about when they were going so it was harder to get a good solid picture of the action. Fast shutter speed is a really cool thing that is great for taking action shots and capturing that really quick action. Another thing you could use fast shutter speed for is like when you're blowing out a candle and want to capture the actual action of the candle being blown out.
Respecting yourself is a very important thing to do. Without respect for yourself, other people can’t respect you as much as needed. This picture represents how you have that line between the respect others have for you and the respect you have for yourself. People only see what is on the outside, but they don’t understand what you really think of yourself on the inside. People only focus on what’s on the outside at a first glance. Life is hard for some people these days that the resort to things such as drugs an alcohol. This shouldn’t be happening, we need to try to lift ourselves up and lift others up in the process. We need to fight against the safety net that is drugs and alcohol. The light painting is taken on a tripod in a dark room on manual mode with a manual focus. At first my partner used a glow stick, but it wasn't showing up very well, so he took his phone out and used the flashlight to create these images. At one point, he took the glow stick and placed it over the top of the flashlight on his phone and it created that colored light which created a really awesome picture. It was a struggle trying to figure out what to create with the light.
Daguerrotype: Created by Louis Daguerre. First picture is a view from a window in the 1820's. It's created with a silver-plated copper plate. Daguerre created the most important part of the camera, what actually has the picture on it. Both a negative and a positive at the same time. Permanent process. They stay in perfect condition. Cyanotype: Created by Sir John Herschel in 1842. Potassium ferricyanide and Ferric ammonium citrate and then the two are blended together in equal parts. Didn't see any use until the 19th century. Became known as blue print. Used as a proofing material. Tend to be done by amateurs. Once upon a time, there were three princesses who were getting ready for the annual ball together. Princess Aurora, Rapunzel, and Cinderella are just waiting for the others to come and pick them up. Finishing their hair and makeup, they hear a car horn outside from the other princesses indicating that they are ready to go. All of the princesses are done getting ready, so they jump in the car and are almost off to the ball. To get themselves pumped up, they try to decide what radio station to turn on. They finally decide to turn on the Disney radio and start driving. When all of a sudden... Ariel can't breathe because she is dehydrated since she isn't in water! Luckily, the princesses are near a body of water and grab what they could to try and splash water on Ariel so she can survive. Thank goodness these princesses know what to do under pressure! Otherwise, Ariel could have possibly died. Phew! Ariel lived, but Rapunzel's box got wet and she had to get out of her box before in got all moldy and gross. The only problem is; she's never been out of the box. She doesn't know what she should do. She doesn't want to go against her mother, but she also doesn't get all moldy and wants to feel the fresh air. After Rapunzel finally decided to get out of her box and be free, they were finally off to the ball! Oh no! Deciding on a radio station is just impossible. They're so late for the ball that it doesn't even matter what station they put on now. Let's just hope nothing else bad happens on the way. With taking these photos, I realized how important aperture really is in the production of a picture. It allows you to have the power to focus on a certain object in the photo so it can be the main focus. Some of the photos came out really focused on the first box, and not so much the the other two boxes.
Camera obscura is a way to capture an image using a small ray of light of which you will capture the image that is being projected through that ray. Camera obscura is something that has been around for many years. Since the renaissance, actually. The thing about it, is that the image captured is upside down. The way to flip it is to use a mirror and angle it correctly so it will actually end up how the image should look. This started the world of photography by the realization that a camera is essentially a box and the image is captured by light, not heat like they had thought it was. This is not my photo, but I really love it.
